Landcorp-owned farm Copper Road, near Waitahuna, is officially on the market.
The 1483ha sheep and beef breeding and finishing property runs about 10,000 stock units and includes three houses.
It is one of nine properties being sold by Landcorp - New Zealand's biggest farmer - and the only one in Otago. The decision to divest the properties was announced earlier this year.
In its annual report, the company said one of its priorities was to ensure the best use of the company's large
asset base and its capital resources.
Throughout Landcorp's history, it had bought or sold about 140 farms to support strategic goals and to redeploy capital.
