Khloe Kardashian will not return to The X Factor.
While Kardashian's season two co-presenter Mario Lopez has been confirmed for the third season of the reality TV show, Fox executives have announced that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's contract has not been renewed.
Producers said in a statement: "Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host 'The X Factor'. We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in the future."
While Simon Cowell didn't comment on Kardashian directly, he revealed his delight that Mario will be back for another year, along with judge Demi Lovato.
He said: "I'm thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of The X Factor. Hosting a live show and keeping the judges - especially Demi - in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he's coming back."
Mario added: "I'm looking forward to returning to The X Factor team. We're coming back stronger and better than ever and I'm excited to check out all the new talent."
Cowell and Lovato will return to the judge's table while announcements for Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, who quit after season two, have not yet been announced.
