Studio 2 dance students have been working hard to perfect their end of year show.
The All I want for Christmas show will feature more than 80 Studio 2 students who will perform a range of acts as well as show off their modelling skills.
Studio 2 is owned by Hayley Old and Becky Walsh, who have had a busy year teaching dance, performing arts and modelling.
Becky says the show opens with a little girl running up to a Christmas tree and picking up an advent calendar before falling asleep under the tree.
A big advent calender then pops up on stage, with each calender window holding a surprise behind it.
The dancers' performances will be based around what is hidden in each window.
"There will be a huge variety of musical theatre, jazz and hip hop — it's a fun family show."
Becky says the show will be put on over two nights because last year they had only one show which sold out within one week.
She says it has been an exciting and busy year and was grateful to the families who supported the studio.
The night will showcase the studio's models as well as dancers from the Dance Project — dancers from all over Taranaki who heading to America on a World Class Dance Tour next year.
* The Studio 2 show is at Kings Theatre at 7pm on Friday December 8 and Saturday December 9.
Tickets can be purchased from the studio or Dimocks in Stratford and are $15. The Stratford Press has a double pass to the Stratford show to give away to one lucky reader.
