Mayweather set fans' pulses racing last month when he claimed he had been approached by the UFC about a potential MMA fight.
"They just called me not too long ago and asked me to come back," he said. "I can come right back to the UFC. If I want, I can go, I can come right back to the UFC, I can go fight in the Octagon.
"I can do a three- or four-fight deal in the Octagon and make a billion dollars. Remember, I'm Floyd 'Money' Mayweather, and you m************ love me, and I love you m************."
The 40-year-old went back into retirement after defeating the UFC's biggest star, McGregor, last year, taking his professional record to 50-0.
The pair have continued to disparage one another on social media, Mayweather relishing in his victory, McGregor making it clear the result would be different in a 'true fight'.
