Australias Sarah Kemp has cruised to a four-shot victory at the Anita Boon Pro-am and book her ticket to next weeks McKayson New Zealand Womens Open.
Kemp entered the final round at the North Shore Golf Club with a huge seven shot lead after a flawless opening round of 64, which meant the result was never in doubt.
After making five straight pars to begin her final round of 73, she always looked destined to win for the 11th time in her ALPG career.
Kemp has struggled throughout her 2017 season on the LPGA Tour and was clearly delighted to get the win yesterday, her first since claiming the BWAC Yamba Pro-am in Australia earlier this year.
"I went out today just trying to shoot under par, knowing that if I could do that in these conditions it would be hard for anyone to catch me," said Kemp.
"I am really pleased that I managed to get the job done. I am definitely playing much better now and finally making a few putts, I feel that the confidence in my game is slowly returning."
Kemp picks up a winners cheque of $4800 and will now turn her attention to next week's McKayson New Zealand Women's Open at Windross Farm where she expects brisk conditions.
"I am really looking forward to next week, I am totally prepared with gloves, hand-warmers and a beanie, so I am ready to go. My coach John Serhan will be on my bag next week which is awesome."
Hanne Song shot the best round of the day with a two-under par 70, to finish in second place alone at three-under par. American Brooke Baker finished third, a further six shots back.
Talented New Zealand rookie-pro Munchin Keh finished alone in fourth place at four-over, while trick shot star Tania Tare finished at five-over in a tie for fifth place with former champion Australian Stacey Peters.
