Auckland local Sarah Saifi holds the chip lead over the remaining nine players at the Auckland Poker Championship main event at Sky City.
100 players put up $2200 to enter New Zealand's biggest poker tournament which generated a prizepool of $200,000, with $63k going to first.
After two full days of play Saifi holds 358,600 in chips, sitting ahead of Aussie Millions main event winner Shurane Vijayaram in second, who holds 299,800.
Saifi was one of the shortest stacks heading into day two of the tournament with 19,775 when the average was 46,500. But she picked her spots well to double up and used her aggression on the money bubble to build a huge stack.
Saifi finished second in February's Waitangi Deepstack Championship main event for $26,260.
