It was only a matter of time before some of our top sporting stars attempted the Running Man challenge.

Sonny Bill Williams and Henry Faafili were working hard in the gym over the weekend, when they decided to bust out their own version of the Running Man dance.

The Running Man craze, which sees groups dance to Ghost Town DJ's My Boo, initially began in US college basketball circles before spreading like wildfire around the globe.

However, Williams has tough competition from his All Blacks teammate Julian Savea when it comes to busting out the best moves on the dance floor.

"I just dance whenever I can I guess, whenever I hear music. There's no training, just watching TV, Chris Brown and that sort of stuff," he said back in 2011.

It's even been reported that Savea and his younger brother Ardie performed a choreographed routine for their sister's Christmas work function to Beyonce's single Single Ladies.
