Chris Rattue reviews the sporting weekend with his picks for the best and worst performers.

WINNERS

Hayden Paddon
It's dream on for the small town Kiwi who won the WRC rally in Argentina. Paddon's ultimate goal is to be the world rally champion, and who is to say he can't do it.

The Chiefs
Won the big New Zealand Super Rugby conference derby against the Hurricanes, although even their captain Sam Cane couldn't work out how. The Hurricanes had the game for the taking but they don't have a bridesmaid reputation for nothing.

Leicester City
Are tantalising close to achieving a football fairytale by winning the English Premier League, having smashed Swansea City despite being without suspended striker Jamie Vardy.

LOSERS

Adam Blair
A nasty head-first and late tackle on Souths half Adam Reynolds should put paid to the Brisbane prop's chances of lining up for the Kiwis' in the test against Australia at Newcastle next week. The judiciary won't be amused.

Beauden Barrett
Terrific running, horrible goalkicking from the Hurricanes No. 10. Confirmed once and for all that he can't be trusted as a test goalkicker.

Channel Seven
The Aussie broadcaster committed an Anzac blunder, cutting off The Last Post before an Aussie rules match at the MCG so it could go to an advertisement break.
