eBay user cardemon_huskers2015 listed the item, and bidding reached upwards of $US15,000 before it was removed from the website, deflating the hopes of fans wanting to take home a piece of the atmosphere from the historical fixture.
Bryant took 50 shots and scored 60 points in his final game, leading his Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-96 victory against the Utah Jazz.
Bryant played in the NBA for 20 years, making his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996.
During his career he won five championships, was named an All Star 18 times and was the NBA's Most Valuable Player in 2008.
