RAMSAU, Austria (AP) Eric Frenzel of Germany held off a challenge from three Norwegians to earn his third Nordic combined World Cup win of the Olympic season on Sunday.
World champion Frenzel was third after the ski jump and finished the 10-kilometer cross-country in 21 minutes, 52.4 seconds for his 12th career victory.
Haavard Klemetsen, who led after the ski jump, came 24th in the cross-country to lead a Norwegian 2-3-4 finish, 5.3 seconds off the lead. Mikko Kokslien was 5.6 back in third and Magnus Krog placed fourth, trailing Frenzel by 6.3.
Olympic champion Jason Lamy Chappuis of France finished 46.3 seconds behind in 22th.
Frenzel leads the standings with 326 points ahead of Japan's Akito Watabe with 221 and Kokslien with 206.
