The New Zealand sailing team will tomorrow compete for medals at the ISAF Sailing World Championships in Perth in at least two classes.
With the penultimate day of racing taking place tonight (NZT), the men's laser and the men's 49er have already qualified for Sunday's medal races.
The men's 49erboat of consolidated their position of fourth overall, meaning a good day's racing on the Centre Course of Bathers Bay tomorrow could place them on the podium.
It's a similar story for in the men's laser class, where Andrew Murdoch finished in fifth place following the final set of races, qualifying comfortably for the medal round. He, too, is within touching distance of the boats ahead of him and, if all goes well, will be firmly in the hunt for a medal.
The 470 women are completing their final two races tonight, as are the four New Zealand men competing in the RS:X. New Zealand did have boats placed inside the top ten going into their last set of races, meaning it is looking likely New Zealand could be represented in all four medal races tomorrow.
