Kiwis captain Benji Marshall believes New Zealand's Four-Nations opponents should steel themselves for a brutal examination of their respective forward packs.

Marshall is certain the mobility of his forward pack is going to cause Australia, England and Papua New Guinea plenty of headaches.

He says he's never been so excited to play behind a forward pack.

The Kiwis warm up for the tournament with a match against Samoa on Saturday night.
