The touring Springboks have delayed naming their side for this weekend's first Tri Nations test at Eden Park - a match that many are seeing as a dress rehearsal for next year's World Cup final.

South Africa made the decision to put off any announcement because of fitness concerns over locks Bakkies Botha and Danie Rossouw.

The Springboks lineup will now be named on Thursday.
