Jacob Oram's contribution to New Zealand's face-saving limited overs series win in Bangladesh has been reflected in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) latest player rankings.
Oram, judged man of the series after New Zealand bounced back to record a 2-1 victory, has moved to the top of theone-day international format's allrounder rankings.
His 135 runs at 67.50 and four wickets at 12.50 enabled the 30-year-old to jump two places to the top of the standings ahead of England's Andrew Flintoff and Shoiab Malik of Pakistan.
Oram is also 10th on the ODI bowling list but 33rd in the batting rankings.
The game's fourth-ranked team do not have one batsman among the top 25.
Scott Styris, Brendon McCullum and Ross Taylor fill positions 27, 28 and 29. For Taylor, who scored 103 in the third ODI against Bangladesh this week, the ranking represents a career-high placing while the next best New Zealanders are Jamie How (32nd) and Oram.
New Zealand can boast four bowlers in the top 10 ODI bowling list with captain Daniel Vettori, who was previously ranked first, but now second, Kyle Mills fifth - up from ninth - and Oram 10th, an improvement from 18th.
Vettori had a disappointing series with the ball, taking just one wicket at an average of 112 and lost his top placing to Australian quick Nathan Bracken.
Shane Bond is the fourth New Zealander, he is still ranked despite not playing for New Zealand since April last year when he joined the rebel Indian Cricket League Twenty20 competition.
