England World Cup hopeful Danny Cipriani has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following an early morning car crash.
The Sale Sharks first-five was unhurt in a collision between his Mercedes and a Toyota in west London just after 5am on Monday, hours after his man-of-the-match performance in England's 73-12 win over the Barbarians.
He was given a breath test and taken to a police station before being released on bail.
The 27-year-old Cipriani is behind Owen Farrell and George Ford in the England pecking order but is in coach Stuart Lancaster's initial training squad for this year's World Cup.
