You can finally pack away your winter woollies, summer is settling in.
Recent warmer temperatures showed that summer was here to stay, according to Rotorua weatherman Brian Holden.
"It's finally coming into summer. It has been very slow to start, but hopefully this is it, because it has been hot before and then reverted back," he said.
Yesterday's morning temperature of 18C was the warmest day recorded this month, and probably in a long time, he said.
Monday, and earlier days, had recorded temperatures of around 15C in the morning, he said.
