Rotorua children attending a holiday programme have learned that tagging is for losers.
Playtopia, the children's play and childcare centre, has run an artistic holiday programme during which children learned the difference between street art and tagging or graffiti.
Playtopia manager Missy Armstrong said they got street artists - brothers Taumata and Jordan Soloman - to take the programme for 20 children aged 8 to 12.
"The kids were really responsive to Taumata and Jordan - they're so young and hip," Mrs Armstrong said. "The kids were just taking it all in. They learned tagging was very disrespectful and not skilful. The boys told them tagging is for losers."
The brothers have been involved with several projects including artwork for Playtopia.
