Police are gearing up for an extensive land and water search for a missing Alexandra man who hasn't been seen since Sunday.
Police say they have "grave" concerns for Christopher James Bates, 22, who was last spotted at a Z service station on Tarbert St on February 11 at 3.50pm.
Police investigations have revealed Bates hasn't used his bank account or his cellphone since then.
Tomorrow an "extensive" land and water search would be underway in Alexandra with assistance from LandSAR, police said.
Bates was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, a white t-shirt, dark shorts and sneaker-style shoes.
