Auckland trains are now running to timetable after the southern line was closed this morning when a body was found on the tracks at Papatoetoe.
However, Auckland Transport says commuters should still expect some delays on the southern and eastern lines.
A spokesman for Auckland Transport said the line was closed this morning after a driver reported seeing a body on the tracks.
Police were at Papatoetoe train station after the body was reported about 7.30am.
Auckland Transport put on rail bus services on the eastern line between Panmure and Manukau, and on the southern line between Otahuhu and Manurewa.
Earlier this morning an Auckland Transport spokesman said all train services on the southern line south of Middlemore - which normally run every 10 minutes at rush hour - had stopped, affecting eastern line trains travelling through Middlemore. Southern line trains from Britomart stopped at Otahuhu.
Eastern line services were suspended between Sylvia Park and Manukau, and southern line services from Britomart stopped at Otahuhu.
