A 65-year-old woman has been charged with murdering a 2-year-old boy in Manurewa.
The Herald revealed in March that police were investigating the toddler's death and can now reveal an arrest has been made.

The boy was admitted to Starship Hospital on 13 December last year.
He had serious head injuries and police said they appeared to be non-accidental.
The boy died from the injuries five days later.
Detective Senior Sergeant Colin Higson confirmed this afternoon that after a lengthy investigation into the death dubbed Operation Fusion, police had arrested and charged a 65-year-old woman with murder.
The woman will appear in the High Court at Auckland on Monday.
Higson could not comment further as the matter was before the courts
