A measles alert has been issued for an international flight which landed in Wellington in late July.
The Ministry of Health says a person, from Wellington, contracted measles while overseas and returned to New Zealand on Sunday July the 24th.
They travelled on Virgin Airlines VA46 from Denpasar Bali to Brisbane, which arrived in Brisbane on the Sunday.
They waited in the Brisbane Transit lounges before travelling on Virgin Airlines VA104 from Brisbane to Wellington, which arrived in Wellington later that day.
The Ministry is asking anyone who was on the flights and feels unwell to call their GP or Healthline for advice, as they may be infectious.
