A stolen playground slide was among guns and methamphetamine found by police during a search in Marlborough.

Three people are facing charges after searches in houses in Blenheim and Waikawa on Wednesday.

Methamphetamine, 24 firearms, cannabis and stolen property including the slide were discovered.

The slide is believed to have been taken from Burleigh Park in Blenheim two years ago.

A police spokeswoman said the slide has been returned to the Marlborough District Council.

Thousands of dollars worth of property was recovered, including motorcycles, a log splitter, a concrete saw, a welder, a ride on lawnmower, a generator, quad bikes, chainsaws, a commercial diesel heater, a dingy, outboard motors and plumbing gear.

Two men both aged 35 are in police custody and will appear in the Blenheim District Court on March 7.

A 25-year-old woman has been released on bail and will appear in court on March 14.
