Stringer called their bluff and police were notified.
"I've been served with a trespass notice this morning, but I will be attending the meeting. I will be resisting," Stringer said.
"I've attended all the AGMs. I will continue to do so and I want to talk through the future of the party and the process in place today."
Stringer was greeted warmly by some members as he entered the conference room. Media were ejected from the conference.
Three police cars were dispatched to the venue.
After about half an hour, Stringer emerged and slammed the party as a "farce" and a "cult".
"Four police officers arrived and have asked us [Stringer and his wife] to leave. We've asked for a reason why we've been kicked out of the meeting, but nobody will answer," Stringer said.
"The police told us we would be arrested if we didn't leave the meeting. Short of being arrested, we've been forced to leave. They took my money [$10] to enter at the door and gave me entry.
"I'm not sure what they're afraid of."
Craig was not present, but Stringer said he would not give up on the party.
"There seems to be a fear here of anyone who disagrees with Colin Craig. And I'm well known for that," he said.
"They want to remove any divergent opinions and using the police to do that seems farcical to me. This party is being dictated by one person in the background."
On Friday Stringer claimed he has now served Craig with a $1 million legal suit.
