Police have named the three people killed in separate road crashes within 48 hours in Canterbury.
Aliielua Fesili Salaivao, 38, was the only occupant of a van that had a collision with a south-bound car on Durham St, Christchurch, on Saturday night.
On Sunday night, Trish Anne Beets, 44, was the front seat passenger in a car struck by a bus at the intersection of Kilmore and Columbo streets.
And yesterday afternoon, Steven Charles Skinner, 45, was the front seat passenger of a vehicle that rolled on SH8 near Lake Pukaki.
The deaths have been referred to the coroner and victim support are working with the families.
Police say two men from the south-bound car in Saturday's crash were in a critical condition in hospital, while two women from yesterday's crash were in hospital in a stable condition.
Police investigations into the crashes continue.
