A blessing for a gym instructor who died yesterday was due to take place at a Les Mills fitness studio in Wellington today.
Tony Tuatoko, 40, died suddenly while taking a class at 6.20pm yesterday.
Les Mills spokeswoman Arpita Dutta said Mr Tuatoko was one of the gym's "beloved" instructors.
"At this stage we don't know the details, but we are respecting the family's want for privacy," she said.
"We're grieving ourselves, as well as the entire Les Mills family. We've closed down the studio today and there will be a blessing later on."
Mr Tuatoko is survived by his wife and three children.
On Mr Tuatoko's profile on the Les Mills website it says he had been involved with group fitness for the past six years.
"I love to workout out and I love to have fun at the same time," he says in the profile.
The gym notified members of Mr Tuatoko's death on its Facebook page.
