Some stories making headlines across the regions today include, a young boy battling with a neurological disorder has his wish come true thanks to a Rotorua Helicopter company, and a helicopter company in Whangarei uses one of its choppers to track down a thief who stole their quad-bike.

A young battler's wish comes true thanks to a Rotorua helicopter company.

It was a case of a hawk circling its prey when a Whangarei helicopter company used one of its choppers to track down a stolen quad bike.

Havelock North is crawling with rats and is also the worst place in the region for mice, cockroaches and white-tailed spiders.
