A man has been charged with the murder of Amanda Dawn Taufale in Tawa.

The body of the 33-year-old was found at a house in Sunrise Boulevard just before 8am today.

Just after 9pm tonight Kapiti Mana Police charged a 38-year-old man with her murder.

A post mortem examination will be carried out on Ms Taufale's body tomorrow.

Police are still appealing for anyone who saw a late model blue Toyota Hatchback, registration GMB108 to come forward.
