Family members of missing father So'saia Paasi will be asked this afternoon to identify the body of a man pulled from the Manukau Harbour.
Police believe the body is that of Mr Paasi.
Search crews had scoured the harbour for the 45-year-old and his seven-year-old son Tio after their dinghy capsized near the Mangere Bridge on Sunday.
Tio's body was found last night and the body of a man was located in the harbour this morning.
Three other children were in the dinghy when it overturned.
Two-year-old So'saia Paasi, the brother of Tio and son of Mr Paasi, remains in a critical condition at the Starship Children's Hospital.
The other rescued children, brother Komani, 10, and cousin Tom Paasi, 9, have been discharged from Middlemore Hospital.
