Police in Wellington have charged two gang-associated men, and are looking for a third, after a series of serious assaults in August.
A 19-year-old was knocked unconscious in a serious assault in Courtney Place on August 25 this year, and two more serious assaults occurred three days later.
Police are
still searching for 19-year-old gang prospect Samuel Gray but have arrested two other men involved in the attacks, said Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard of the Wellington CIB.
Police, with help from the Armed Offenders Squad, arrested gang member Dean Wilson and gang prospect Lausii Taualupe, both 26-years-old.
The two men were found in Lonsdale Crescent in Rongotai, Wellington, and each face a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm for the three serious assaults in August.
