Electoral packs out
More than 3 million packs are being sent as the Electoral Commission launches its campaign to enrol voters for the 2017 general election.
The personalised enrolment update packs are being sent to all enrolled voters and should arrive in letterboxes this week.
The pack includes a form setting out the individual's current enrolment details with space to record any changes. If an enrolment pack arrives for someone who doesn't live at the address, it should be marked return to sender and put back in the post.
Thrilling theatre
A thrilling, interactive theatre experience designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years will be staged by Whangarei-based theatre group Company of Giants early in the July school holidays.
Jabberwock transports brave young audiences into a magical world occupied by puppets, a boy and his mother, but haunted by the formidable Jabberwock.
Jabberwock will be hosted by ONEONESIX, (116 Bank St). The play was developed over a two-week period late last year and will be held over five consecutive days starting on July 8.
