Newly elected Northland MP Winston Peters is planning to open offices in four towns around the far-flung electorate.
The NZ First leader said plans for the new offices were well under way and close to being formalised. He would announce the locations as soon as details were finalised.
The party already has an office on Bank St in the Whangarei electorate for list MP Pita Paraone.
Mr Peters won the March 28 by-election with a 4441-vote majority over National's Mark Osborne, overturning a National majority of 9300 in the general election just six months earlier.
The by-election was forced by the resignation of MP Mike Sabin for "personal reasons". Mr Sabin has since been appointed chief executive of Carrington Estate, a Chinese-owned resort, golf course and winery covering 1000ha on the Karikari Peninsula.
