Santa needs an extra large sleigh to keep Northlanders happy this year if their internet search for presents is anything to go by.
According to Trade Me data, camping and campervans are top of the site's annual list of Christmas searches in Northland.
Nike gear was the next most popular, followed by iPhones.
Other XXL stocking fillers such as trampolines, kayaks, barbecues and outdoor furniture also featured in the top 10.
Nationally, iPhones were the most popular search with hundreds of thousands of searches over the last month.
By and large, however, people searched for Christmas presents they could enjoy in summer, Trade Me spokesman Logan Mudge said.
"Many Kiwis look forward to spending their summer outdoors, and what better way to enjoy the warm days than with a bounce on the tramp, a paddle and a sizzling barbie for dinner? If the weather turns to custard, their bases are covered with PlayStation, Lego and Star Wars merchandise all proving very popular searches."
Lego's popularity was growing, Mr Mudge said.
"You also can't deny the power of Lego. We've seen the little bricks go from strength to strength every year."
Other Christmas wish list items gaining popularity included Fitbit wearable activity trackers, adult colouring books - and drones.
