MERCURY PRESS. 19/04/18. Pictured: Elaine Fisher, 38 and her daughter Holly Chandley, 3 from Dudley. A healthy toddler who suddenly forgot how to crawl, sit up and stand has been diagnosed with a condition similar to ALZHEIMERS. Three-year-old Holly Chandler was diagnosed at 20 months with Niemann-Pick Type C - a condition which attacks her brain in a way similar to Alzheimers. Single mum Elaine Fisher, 38, first noticed something was wrong around her first birthday when after the tot came down with a viral infection. Comparing her to her grandson of a similar age Elaine, from Dudley, West Midlands, realised Holly had stopped hitting her milestones - and even started to forget the ones she had previously met. While her grandson Jacob, just one week older than Holly, had started walking and interacting more Elaines daughter was regressing. SEE MERCURY COPY. Photo Credit: Michael Scott/Mercury Press
