British Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has issued an apology after being accused of humiliating his young nephew online.
Hamilton sparked controversy by telling his young nephew: "Boys don't wear princess dresses" in a now-deleted Instagram video at a family gathering on Christmas day.
Now, the 32-year-old has apologised for his words on Twitter, saying: "Yesterday I was playing around with my nephew and realised that my words were inappropriate so I removed the post.
"I meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone at all. I love that my nephew feels free to express himself as we all should.
