Queensland have picked debutant Cameron Munster at five-eighth ahead of Michael Morgan for next Wednesday's rugby league State of Origin series decider.
Playmaker Morgan will move from the bench to centre for the Suncorp Stadium clash with NSW after the Maroons were forced to fill gaps left by injured stars Johnathan Thurston and Darius Boyd.
Coach Kevin Walters finalised the line-up on Thursday after only naming his squad alphabetically three days earlier.
Munster's selection in the halves completes an all-Melbourne spine for the Maroons, linking him with halfback Cooper Cronk, fullback Billy Slater and hooker Cameron Smith.
Morgan plays five-eighth for North Queensland and impressed when the Maroons levelled the series in game two, setting up a last-gasp try to seal victory.
But the 22-year-old Munster was backed this week by captain Smith to play in the No.6 jersey.
Morgan has never played centre for the Cowboys in his 116 NRL games - turning out at fullback, halfback and five-eighth - but he is set to line up at left centre for the Maroons opposite Blues centre Josh Dugan.
