Police spent several hours yesterday at the Oringi Business Park south of Dannevirke amid rumours of a bomb threat.
Police said they had "received a report of a threatening nature" about 6.30am.
"As part of our inquiries, police have attended the scene and our investigation has found nothing of concern," a spokesman said.
Police were, however, still at the site about four hours after the call, and a spokesman said later: "We appreciate the assistance and co-operation of business park staff, and ask anyone with any further concerns to contact police."
The business park is a few hundred metres from State Highway 2 between Dannevirke and Woodville, and is owned by Southern Hawke's Bay electricity supply company Scanpower.
