Police had early last night still not found a man who has been wanted for almost three weeks since a man was allegedly run-down by a vehicle in a Napier street.
Jamie Lesley Jones, 31, has been sought by police since an incident late in Waterworth Ave, Onekawa South, late on the morning of December 30.
A warrant for his arrest was issued the following day on a charge of assaulting injured Napier man Louis Harold Keil, who yesterday remained in a serious but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Hawke's Bay Hospital, Hastings.
Police were also still seeking escaped prisoner Rua Joseph Morrell, 29, who fled while being taken from Hawke's Bay Prison to the hospital for treatment on January 6.
