Napier SPCA always has lots of cute animals in need of new homes.
To help them find a loving family, our Pet of the Week feature includes details of one SPCA animal up for adoption each week.
Madi
Madi is a two-year-old, female whippet cross who was found heavily pregnant and lost in the bush.
She had 10 puppies which have all found new homes and now it is her turn to find a home.
She has a gentle nature and gets on well with other dogs, and doesn't seem very interested in cats.
Being a whippet, she loves to run so she will require someone who is active and willing to give her a lot of exercise.
She will be adopted only as a family pet. Her hunting days are behind her.
