Auction raises more than $33,000

The Property Brokers Relay for Life Charity Auction was held last night at the Hawke's Bay Opera House, with 330 people in attendance.

The 48 lot auction, raising funds for the New Zealand Cancer Society, included a signed and framed Manchester United jersey which was sold for $900, while a return trip for two to Vanuatu sold for $2500.

Wayne Mudgeway (pictured) from Hastings bought two tickets to the sold out Bruce Springsteen concert in Auckland next month for $460. Property Brokers Hawke's Bay regional manager Paul Whitaker was the auctioneer for the event, which raised $33,515.
