"The arms keep dropping off," said Diane Ayton.
"Yes, we need a mannequin whisperer," said fellow volunteer Dorothy Wales at the Dress for Success Christmas party at Hamilton Gardens last Friday.
Stories were swapped about preparing women of all ages with confidence and clothes to enter the workforce.
"We can find something for everyone," said Marisa Shuker.
Thanking the volunteers, Natasha Harvey, president of the Board of Trustees, said it had been a year of great change for the organisation.
