Kanye West has sparked speculation he uses illegal torrents.
The All Day hitmaker caused controversy when he posted on Twitter a screenshot of his laptop to show he was listening to Sufjan Stevens - but it was the other tabs he had open which caught the eye of fans.
One tab read 'Pirate Bay Torrent Xfe...', while another could be seen displaying 'Xfer Records Serum t..' , prompting Twitter users including producer Deadmau5 to accuse him of stealing wavetable synthesizer programme Serum by Xfer Records.
The EDM star tweeted: "What the f*** @kanyewest ... Can't afford serum? D***. (sic)"
And Deadmau5 also called on fans to donate money to help Kanye - who recently claimed he was $53 million in debt - purchase the $189 music production programme, which is used to produce high-quality sound with an easy-to-use interface.
He posted: "Let's start a Kickstarter to help @kanyewest afford a copy of Serum.
"He needs a small loan of 200$ #prayforyeezy."
Kanye's post comes weeks after it was claimed he was planning to sue infamous torrent site PirateBay - on which countless LPs and films have been made available for free - following a flood of illegal copies of his new album The Life of Pablo, which he made available to exclusively stream on Jay Z's Tidal, of which he is a part-owner of.
A source previously said: "Kanye is going to meet with his legal team to discuss the possibilities of starting legal action against torrent site Pirate Bay.
"Kanye is furious because he's potentially lost millions of dollars."
