Jim Carrey could face being grilled by police after bottles of pills made out to a name he uses as an alias were found beside the body of his ex-girlfriend.
Cathriona White, who committed suicide at her home in Sherman Oaks, California, last month, was found with three bottles of prescription pills that investigators believe belonged to the Hollywood star.
TMZ reported that the 30 year old Irish beautician was found with Ambien, Percocet and Propranolol next to her bedside when she overdosed. The pills were prescribed by the same doctor to a name police officers think was an alias used by Carrey, 53, for privacy reasons.
Police are said to be hoping to question Carrey, who broke up with make-up artist Cathriona, from Cappawhite, Tipperary, five days before her death. She left a suicide note addressed to him.
A source told TMZ White may have taken the bottles of medication from the actor's home.
