Noel Gallagher, the man who wrote Wonderwall, can't believe that Zayn Malik feels the way he does about his life.
Malik left the popular boy band One Direction in March, saying he wished he could be a "normal 22-year-old" and spend some time out of the spotlight.
But Gallagher, the former guitarist and songwriter of Oasis, reckons Malik is out of his mind for not appreciating what fame and fortune provide.
"Hang on a minute," Gallagher told Rolling Stone magazine.
"You can be f***ing anything that moves and getting paid half a million dollars a week - you f***ing idiot.
"You want to be a normal 22-year-old? Have you met any normal 22-year-olds?"

Gallagher, speaking from experience, also gave Malik some financial advice.
"F***ing get a good accountant because life is very f***ing long," the 47-year-old said.
