Richard E Grant was chastised by bosses on the set of Downton Abbey when he broke the rules by pulling out his mobile phone to send a tweet about his role in the period drama.
The cast of the hit British TV show is sworn to secrecy over the plot details and producers go to great lengths to keep the storylines under wraps.
Grant joined the show for a guest role in the fifth season, and co-star Allen Leech reveals the actor "had to be stopped" when producers spotted him with his phone.
Leech tells Britain's Event magazine: "I'm bound by the vows of Downton. We say nothing. We don't tweet, we don't slip up.
"There was a moment during filming last series when Richard E Grant got out his phone and was about to tweet when he had to be stopped. It's hilarious."
