One of next year's most hotly tipped shows will only be available to New Zealand viewers via online streaming service Lightbox.
Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spin-off starring Bob Odenkirk as dodgy lawyer Saul Goodman, will air on Spark's TV on-demand service from February.
Lightbox is promising to air episodes "as soon as possible" after they screen in the US, where it will premiere on cable network AMC from February 8.
Set six years before Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul will chart the transformation of small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill into Walter White's morally dubious sidekick Saul Goodman.
Though Breaking Bad's main characters won't feature in the show's first season, cameos are rumoured, and some minor characters will feature regularly, including Jonathan Banks as "fixer" Mike Ehrmantraut.
Breaking Bad' creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, are promising to deliver a show as dense and intricately wound as the original.
Little has been seen of the show, with a recent press event attended by TimeOut embargoed until closer to launch, and only 30-second teaser trailers - and a video for the country music theme tune - available online. It's the biggest exclusive for Lightbox since its launch in August.
Its offerings also include new shows Outlander, Black Sails and Vikings, and a vast back catalogue that consists of Seinfeld, Homeland, Orange is the New Black and both versions of The Office.
