An Australian electronic double bill featuring Chet Faker and Hermitude has been announced for Auckland's Powerstation.

Faker, who was just here for a performance at Gisborne's Rhythm & Vines New Year's festival, will play with Hermitude on February 22.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am through Ticketmaster.

Meanwhile, two-night rock festival Metalfest has added several new acts to its line-up.

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, 8 Foot Sativa and Devilskin are joining a line-up that already includes Korn, Rob Zombie, Megadeth, Asking Alexandria, Five Finger Death Punch, Black Veil Brides and the Eagles Of Death Metal.

It's being held on February 19 and 20 at Auckland's Vector Arena.

Elsewhere, tickets to Lorde's Laneway sideshow at Silo Park go on sale to the general public today.

The Kiwi pop star had to pull out of the indie festival to attend the Grammy awards, but is putting on a stand alone show on January 29 to make up for it.

Free tickets to Laneway ticketholders were available until yesterday, but tickets to the all ages event are on sale from midday today through the Laneway website.
