Kiwi hot property Lorde is set to perform a concert in Auckland - and it's free.

The Kiwi singer behind hit songs Royals and Tennis Court will appear at Vector Arena on September 7, with dubstep act Mt Eden playing support.

To get tickets, fans need to sign up to iHeartRadio, a digital radio with access to over more than 1000 stations.

Everyone signed up to iHeartRadio by 11pm on September 1 will receive an email with details on how to get a double pass to the show.

This will be Lorde's only New Zealand show in 2013 and tickets are limited.

The 16-year-old North Shore student has been busy wowing US fans and critics with a series of showcases, one of which had tickets being scalped at $120.

She has earned a bunch of celebrity fans and endorsements, and yesterday became the first female artist to top Billboard's alternative charts in 17 years.
