An armed man who assaulted a worker at an Auckland pizza shop before making off with cash is being hunted by police.
Police today released footage of the incident at Domino's Pizza in Glenfield, on the North Shore, which was captured on CCTV camera.
The man, believed to be armed with a firearm, entered the store on Chartwell Ave through the back door about 9.35pm on Monday.

At about 9:35pm on Monday 11 April, a man entered the Glenfield Domino’s Pizza store on Chartwell Ave through the back door. There were two employees and three customers in the store at the time. Police believe the man was in possession of a firearm.
The man forced one of the employees to open the till and place money into a bag. He then assaulted the employee and fled the store through the back door into Marlborough Park.
Police dogs attended and tracked the man onto Edgeworth Road, where he was witnessed by a member of the public getting into a white vehicle and fleeing the scene.
North Shore Police are interested to hear from anyone who may know anything about this incident or who may recognise the man from CCTV imagery.
The man is described as 175-183 cm tall, thin to medium build and wearing dark clothing with black and white “Chuck Taylor” type shoes and a black balaclava.
