The woman hurt when she was struck by a car in Te Puke this week remains in a critical condition at Tauranga Hospital today.
The 29-year-old Tauranga woman was in a 'critical but stable' condition at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The woman was understood to
have been hitchhiking when she was struck by a van as she stood on a grass verge on Te Puke's main road on Tuesday.
