A Tauranga punter has just won $4.5 million in Lotto in an 'incredible winning streak''.
For the third week in week in a row, a lucky Powerball player has hit the big time with Powerball First Division.
The winning ticket was sold at Greerton Lotto in Tauranga.
The total Lotto Powerball prize of $4.5 million is made up of $4 million from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.
"This win makes the first two months of 2015 some of the luckiest ever for our Lotto Powerball and Big Wednesday players," general manager corporate communications Emilia Mazur said.
"With six of our players becoming multi-millionaires within the space of six weeks, it's an incredible winning streak.''
There was also one other Lotto First Division winner tonight. The winning Lotto ticket was sold at Jellicoe Court Bookstore in Auckland.
Strike Four has jackpotted and will be worth $300,000 in next week's draw.
Also tonight, Ian and Robyn from Papamoa spun and won $100,000 with the Winning Wheel on the live Lotto draw.
This week's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Countdown Petone in Lower Hutt. The winning serial number is 456-20879914-20XX
